Priscila Torres is a filmmaker from El Salvador based in Atlanta, GA. Her work features heartfelt explorations of the human experience, often highlighting the importance of community. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Universidad Don Bosco, El Salvador, and a BFA in Film Production from Santa Fe University of Art & Design. Priscila came to the US through the Robert Redford/Milagro Initiative scholarship program. Her short films have been selected for numerous film festivals, including Cleveland International Film Festival, Macon Film Festival, and NewFilmmakers LA. In addition to writing and directing, Priscila has gained valuable experience assisting showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer (Tell Me Lies S1), cinematographer Javier Aguirresarobe (Lyle, Lyle Crocodile), and actress Carmen Ejogo (The Girlfriend Experience S2). Priscila is a 2024 Hambidge fellow and a 2020 Sundance Knight Fellow. Through her company, 1 Bedroom Studios, Priscila crafts compelling videos that help businesses tell their stories.
