Taino C

Taino C is a rising bilingual poet from Carolina, Puerto Rico based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Taino C started officially in 2023 when he performed his first poem at a Hispanic Heritage Month Talent Show, winning second place marking the beginning of his passion for poetry and expression. Originally from Carolina, Puerto Rico, he grew up surrounded by the sounds of reggaeton, latin rock, salsa, and rap. After moving to the United States later as a military child, those influences stayed with him, inspiring the things present in his work today. Now based in Atlanta, Georgia, Taino C mixes a style into his own. On September 2025, he expanded his poetic work with a live performance at the “Seguimos Aquí” Puerto Rican Art Show in Underground Atlanta. His poetry has a variety of themes like identity, romance, resistance, culture, social issues, and personal transformation. He continues expanding his presence and using his art to honor his culture, inspire others, and leave a meaningful impact on the community.
