Arlene Olivos studied Communication Sciences. Her work has focused on exploring the fields of art: painting, theater, and audiovisual media such as photography and short films. She has participated in various art exhibitions in Peru, including the 2019 "Muévete" talent competition in the visual arts category, organized by the Alliance Française in Piura, Peru. Her most recent short films have been based on poems she wrote. In 2020, her animated short film "Liberación" was part of the official selection of the Chifles Film Festival in Piura, Peru. In September of the same year, her short film "Una historia más" was among the 10 best short films in the CDV14 Out-of-Competition Showcase category and was screened on the CDVPlay app. The International University Short Film Festival "Cortos de Vista" (Cortos de Vista) is a film that was presented at the 2020 International University Short Film Festival. In 2022, she participated in the Censurados Film Festival competition with his documentary "Otro Amiguito del Pueblo." As for photography, she won second place in the PERÚ 8MIL photography competition. In 2022, her photograph "Zaña, Forgotten Capital" was part of the Maravillarte exhibition, a national Peruvian art competition and exhibition, under the title "PERÚ, una obre de arte." Likewise, she participated at the ArteExpo Dallas museum in Dallas, Texas. Her photograph "Together, a Lifetime in Omia" was part of the Maravillarte 2023 exhibition.
