Aniria is a stand-up comedian and actor who got her start in Tampa, Florida. She is now in Atlanta pursuing her passions. Years into her stand-up career, she was encouraged to try acting. After some resistance she started training and never looked back! Some of her film & tv credits include Chicago Med, Naked, and Hightown. On stage she has played Zoila, the comedic relief in Lisa Loomer’s play Living Out when it premiered in Maimi. More recently, she played Ofelia in Nilo Cruz’s Anna in The Tropics here in Atlanta, which had a run in both English and Spanish.Grateful to have found a strong Latine community here, Aniria has now written and performed stand-up in Spanish, adding to her repertoire. She is also exploring her writing skills with a short film about 2 stand-up comedians and a stage play about the diverse immigrant dreams within her family.
