Raices: Artist Call

NUESTRA CREACIÓN 2026 - 8TH ANNUAL LATINE/BIPOC SHOW RAÍCES 2026 is a collective exhibition and year-long cultural initiative exploring ancestry, memory, migration, identity, and the traditions that continue to live and evolve within our communities. This first phase is an application of interest. Artists are not required to have completed artwork at this time. We invite artists whose practices engage with themes of roots, belonging, cultural memory, family histories, resistance, and the reclamation of identity. Selected artists will advance to Phase 2 and will be invited to develop or submit work for the exhibition and related programming. Please note: A donation of any amount is required to complete your application. Donations are sent via Venmo to @nuestra_creacion19 and will be verified before the committee reviews submissions. Additionally, artists selected for the exhibition will be required to submit a $15 installation fee for Phase 2 Applications close August 1st. Selected artists will be notified by August 5th.
